Riverbend Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse is situated
only a few minutes walk from the river in the beautiful
Chilliwack River Valley, known as a world class fishing, river
rafting, kayaking and hiking area. We are approximately 25
minutes from the city of Chilliwack which is a major farming /
market and service center for the area.
As you follow the river on its winding course you encounter
the majestic mountains and a sense of leaving behind you all
the hustle and bustle of every day life. Once on Slesse Road
you encounter a forested area which, at night, lite only by
moonlight ...creates a beautiful, if errie sensation.
Fish on the river, swim in the lakes, take a rafting trip,
spend a day at the waterslides, Air Tram, Hot Springs, or walk
through the many beautiful gardens. Search out the Blue Heron
or tour the fish hatchery.
In the quiet of the evening you hear the rush of the
river and sitting on the large back sundeck in the morning you
may well encounter a variety of wildlife.
It is a peaceful, quiet area surrounded by
trees, mountains, lakes and rivers. A semi-wilderness or
nature retreat offering just sheer rest and relaxation.
